I have never been in a relationship , i have no idea how to start one !
Do you just go up to someone and tell them you like them ? Is it that simple ?
I'm 18, never been in a realationship. Atleast once a week some guys ask for my number at work. I always say no. And then wonder why I'm still single lol. I need to really know the guy before haveing a relation ship I guess.
If you had to do that you honestly don't know them well enough to like them.
Like how they look maybe

Neither is enough to ask for a relationship, merely enough to ask for a date. Maybe that's what he meant, but for a relationship to begin the chemistry, bond, and personal interaction all need to have been formed. Sure people rush into them based on nothing else but superficial things but I wouldn't recommend it.
And personality is not superficial.
Not saying you said that, but Im just saying
Personality isn't but how they act around others is somewhat superficial as mean people can put on the "nice" face for work, certain social events etc...my point was just get to know the person personally before asking for a relationship. For a date a random hot chick is fine 😊
Asking for a date is pretty much the same thing as asking for a potiential relationship.
Yea well I agree it would help if the two people talked a little bit or something before asking for a date. But if the dude wants to ask for a date straight up, then good for him.
N yea I was gonna say the same thing, some people just go for looks. Which I also find not the best approach.

Sometimes it can be as simple as asking someone on a date
And other times you can build on a relationship that will take time
Depends on the person
You go up to someone and say "Hi my name is (insert your name here). What is your name?" That is how you start a relationship.
