I don't brush my hair... I don't feel that I need to and I haven't brushed it in at least three years. I keep it clean and that is all that matters to me. As long as it is clean, and I don't have lice, dandruff etc. why do the knots matter? Believe it or not, I like the knots in my hair. It makes it look curlier... and as long as I shower all the time, it does not look like a god damn hobos hair or anything like that. Btw, note that I am a dude.... with hair that's at least an inch above my nipples. is this normal.. or is it just me ? o.o

    I think its just fine. You don't have dreads by now? Sheesh. I haven't brushed my hair in almost 8 years(cus I'm a dready betty). I like messy hair as long as its clean, like you said

    Trust me girls want you to brush your hair. Even if you wash it everyday, it might look gross or greasy

    Sounds like you need to cut it, guys are way more attractive with shorter hair! Then you won't need to worry about knots.

    As long as u washes ur hair and keep it clean and etc, brushing ur hair or not is not the problem ;) I am a girl, I don brush my hair usually, my hair's perfectly straight. I mean it's totally a big diff between washin n brushing hair.

    If you can take it, I think it's fine. But if you do start brushing it don't spend HOURS on it.

    Well for a dude yeah I'd say it is normal. Honestly though just cut your hair if you don't want to brush it. Believe me the girls will find you much more attractive. If you like it long than suck it up and brush your hair man... yeah it will hurt but your hair will look much better and feel better too!

    I don't care about the length but you should brush it, not only will it get rid of the knots, it'll make your hair shine and look healthy.
