    I'm torn between yes and no. If your dog is in human suit I think this normal but if he is in dog in dog suit then I think this bizarre.

    Although I wouldn't say it's the social norm, it IS perfectly normal. As long as you are sensitive to his needs and feelings (and RESPECTING those needs and feelings as an EQUAL), then it's perfectly okay. Sexual intimacy between humans and other species has been happening for thousands of years. I list a few resources on my profile here:

    The public perception and treatment of dogs as "children" with fur who are incapable of mature thought, emotions, deep love and sexual desire is the result of humans' uncontrolled maternal instincts, a gross lack of open-mindedness and a desire (conscious or unconscious) to dominate/control or feel depended upon. There is nothing wrong with LOVE (and it's by-products). As long as you hold a genuine love and respect for him as an equal, and he wants to have sex with you, then by all means...be his mate!! It's natural (and extremely common) for then to desire us as their mates--even when they have options within their own species (they are capable of conscious decision-making, which HAS been proven to the nth degree).

    Love knows no boundaries. Only the false ones that ignorant mankind places upon it.

      so every dog that has ever humped my leg, that wasn't because they were hormonal animals with a far less level of conciousness then us humans? that was because they really looked at me and thought in their little doggy brains "that human woman is so sexy, i'd like to have sex with her and love her in a very respectful and natural way."
      ...somehow this seems unbelievable to me.
