At places with free refills ice filled to the brim is so youre forced to drink in sips making drinks last longer. Also, added water from melting changes the flavour.

I went to Germany and no one put ice in their drinks. They didn't stock it, they didn't know it was used in drinks. Since then I haven't used ice. I drink sodas room temperature or slightly chilled.

I hate how some places charge extortionate amounts, for a glass of ice with a dash of Coke!

Yeah, I don't like having ice in my drinks. When I drink the ice touches me teeth, and my teeth are pretty sensitive to coldness

I hate it when the ice makes up 1/3 or more of the drink. This is why it is better to fill up your own drink in the restaurant than to go through the drive-through and get a tremendous amount of ice.

I hate when I get a drink with a lot of ice and I ask for a straw. They tell me they don't have none. It makes me so mad. I don't like the ice touching my lips. If I can't get a straw I'm not drinking it.

My Trade is Refrigeration. Ice Machines need Frequent Attention and Cleaning. All of the Ice that's in the Storage Bin get's melted out during the Cleaning because it's Contaminated with the Cleaner. The Cleaner is Food Grade so it won't Kill You. It might give You the Runs at worst. We try to Teach Every Customer that Ice Is Food. It goes in Your Drinks. You Eat it, You Drink it as it melts. So if it's got a Bunch of Nasties in it then it can make You Sick or Even Dead. All because some Merchant Failed to Pay Us to clean the Machine for them Properly. Or Teach Their Employee's to do it right, which We are glad to do for them. If the Water is Bad and You Freeze It then You've got Frozen Bad Water which melts to Make Bad Water. So if You wouldn't Drink The Water DON'T Use The Ice! If I've Given You One thing here to Remember here "Ice Is Food!" And charging someone for the Cleaners and Time to clean their machine were not Scamming them.

Just think, if you were selling drinks, you would put ice in them too to save money.

Whenever I'm at a fast food place and I order a drink, I never put ice in it because those machines are already cold enough. Adding more ice ruins it

I tell people don't put ice in my drink. When they don't listen that makes me really mad. I don't like ice in my drinks because the ice makes my lips very cold. Plus the ice be in the way.

LOL! I used to eat ice when I was younger. I'd take the whole cube and just CRUNCH!

Anyhow though, if I'm drinking pop, sometimes I'll have a bit of ice if I don't drink it straight from the bottle. I'll drink it kinda fast though if it has ice, so it won't melt much. And I like iced tea on a hot day (doesn't change the flavor much if it melts). And obviously if it melts in water, it's no big deal.

What I don't like much is when you have a sno cone and you have a ton of ice left over and there's no flavor left. I like ice, but that's a little too much I think.
