Does your job put u in the moment ?

Iv just started a new job and because im constanly on the go, I have no time to be pondering about stuff to do with the past like people or events. Same applies to the future unlike my other job where im constantly out of the present moment either reminising or day dreaming. Is this normal and are u in the moment most the time at your job ?

Depends on your job really. If you aren't in the moment and giving proper attention then your clients will suffer. You must think about your clients to. And hey I have wroked in jobs where I gave my all and I enjoyed working there actually. Must find a job that you actually like giving your all to, like a job that interests you or something. But after that, I go home to my boyfriend and we talk and laugh and everything's fine....

No i usually listen to an audio book and let my mind wander. My work out put actually increases as I go into like a drone mode where I'm not really thinking about what I'm doing.

It depends. On days when the place is a ghost town, I tend to daydream or space out. When it's busy, daydreams are pushed aside and replaced with thoughts of getting the job done as fast and effective as possible.

Ehh, yes and no. Yes in that I often have to draw from past experiences to figure out what needs to be done in the present but no in that I don't often have time to ponder my own existential bullshit when I'm on the clock.
