Does this sound suspicious?

Here's the story:

Man goes missing. Family says he was out driving to his job. Right before that, he was with them at home. He was excited about his daughter's wedding that takes place in three months so they were discussing songs and dances. Daughter says he loved to laugh. Wife said he was her best friend since kindergarten. They did both shed tears.

A week or so later, his car is found. They still can't figure out where he went. It's been a little over a month now with still about two months until the wedding. When another person interviews the family later/with updates just this week, the daughter and wife are asked if they're going to postpone the wedding. The daughter says "nope! we're still going through with my wedding." with a neutral face. The wife smiles slightly and looks at her daughter and then the camera and says "the show must go on right?". They both smile and look at each other and it ends.

Does that sound at all suspicious?

Considering we didn't see the interview, and don't know any of the back story, I do not see how we can come to any conclusion from your obviously biased description of the circumstances.

It could be they killed him for the life insurance. Or.. they just deal with their grief on their own terms. Either way, karma is in ultimate control.
