He exchanged numbers with me, texted me, hung out with me. I told him flat out he's not going to get sex as a joke but meant it, he said that's fine he doesn't care about sex as he has too many emotional issues going on.

It's been two months now. He seems to like me as we hang out often and text every other day but I know he has a lot of female friends. He only flirts with me rarely but he pokes fun at me a lot and knows how to make me laugh and enjoys doing so.

Yesterday He told me he feels like shit inside all the time but that he feels comfortable talking to me. Then told me he can't date anyone at all until he gets his life in order because it wouldn't be fair and on top of that , that he needs to get over his ex and then apologized for telling me about her but said he still mourns her

He's the nicest guy, nerdy, goofy, really gets me. I don't want to lose him but I'm not sure he even wants me after telling me that. was it a hint?

This morning I got a text saying "I'm so sorry about last night. I shouldn't have told you my miserable life issues"

    Men are not going to waste time with a woman who is not going to have sex.
    IF there is a strictly platonic and genuine friendship between a man and a woman, then he will make time for her but that is rare.

    If you are interested in a boyfriend though, there is no shortage of bad boys, the abusive types, criminals, thugs, and other low lives who would LOVE to go out with you. You may have to deal with things like getting beaten up and buying him drugs but hey, isn't that every young woman's dream?

    Most women do not even deserve to date a nice, nerdy, gentile, good guy.

    If you like him fuck him. No hetero guy will turn down the advances of a decently looking female. You're already friends with him and hear all his baggage... it sounds like he could benefit from some therapy, maybe recommend that.

    Okay, so ignore the adolescent called leggs91200. They obviously only have nonfactual feelings towards women based off the anime he jerks off to.

    Anyway! The best thing to do is to ask him straight up. It might be awkward, but it’s the only way you’ll know for sure how he feels. If y’all have a strong enough friendship, it won’t ruin anything. Hoping for the best for you.
