Does this mean anything?

After having all sorts of fights with future baby daddy, for the past two weeks, he called to have a conversation. Before that, we had a huge fight with insults, he even called me names finally. I knew at that point we are done for good, like over completely, no redemption, like nothing on earth would make us talk again (it was that bad) . Hours later he called me, very late at night, he was working on the night shift, he must have been drunk. I agreed to talk, he was just talking about the baby, telling me he doesn't appreciate it when I yell at him, calling him names etc, asking if i'm really fine with keeping it. He was even coming up with cute baby names, so i'm confused is this happening or not.. Like is it normal??
