I'm learning how to play the guitar, on my own. I have had this acoustic guitar for years and only picked it up once in a while to try to play it instantly, I'd get bored and put it away for months at a time. Finally the other day, i commited to learning how to play. I actually taught myself a little tune using low E and A. From there, I have progessively gotten a little better and incorporating more into the tune. Such as D and A and low E. But the only problem is.. I don't know chords at all. I'm really bad at the ones I try to learn. Does this count as really playing the guitar, even if it is very beinner, because I don't know chords?

    What do you mean, does this count? Do you just play the guitar so you can tell to people 'I can play the guitar'?

    You're learning it, so I think it's safe to say you play it.

      No, it would be kind of cool but that's bot what this is about. Im doing it for myself, i don't want to tell myself I'm learning how to play when im really just docking around not learning anything. Whatever tho. I'll do and tell myself what I want. That seems to be whats normal. Everyone's head is so far up their ass they think they know it all anyways. Whatevrr I'm getting drunk and saying fuck you to this poll.
