Does this annoy the hell out of anyone else on fb?

I have a friend on facebook that's Annoying the Hell out of me by her posts. I swear she is on facebook 24/7. She posts the Stupidest things on her wall Multiple times a day about Everything her kids do or say and it's Never Anything that's actually funny or Interesting. Heres just two examples of what she posted already today.
1- This is hilarious!
Mike: knock knock
Edward: whos there?
Mike: Dog P-
Edward: Dog P- what?

2- Her: Edward what would you like for breakfast?
Edward: Chocochips!
Her: You cant have Chocolate chip for breakfast.
Edward: -sad face-
Her: Lol... what a silly boy!

Grrrr.... Is it normal that this annoys me So much? Does she really think that people really give a crap ? Does anyone else have a friend that does this on fb ?
I just wanna comment saying... No One gives a F*ck about Edward!

I'm a mother of 5, I think my kids do silly, cute things all the time.

mother! I dont post what they do cause I know No one else wakes up in the morning excited to get on fb to see what emma said today!

I just want to tell her off! Lol!

    OH MY GOD! That shit happens to me all the time. Some folks need to realize that no one gives a rat's ass about the stupid shit they do! Like on my FB, there's this one girl who constantly bitched about living in town, then she moved to Florida and now she whines constantly about missing Kansas. Or there's this one dude who constantly changes up girlfriends, talks about how much he loves them, then talks about the sex they had, then whines about being broken up with. STUPID FRIGGIN PEOPLE MAN.

    There is no point in wasting your time bitching or complaining to these people because chances are THEY DONT GIVE A FUCK THAT IT BOTHERS YOU. cause if i was her, i wouldnt give a fuck.

        You don't have to delete her, there is a way to unsubscribe. So you two are still friends and you don't have to see her status updates. :D Win-win.

      Just because I'm greatly annoyed by one thing someone does, doesn't mean I dont like them and I should delete thier friendship.

    I added a guy from work recently, and find out he post's like 20 Jesus comment's a day. I simply unsubscribed, and wala.... no more Jesus comment's.

    I can't stand it when you have a Facebook friend that always likes a post that is between yourself and another friend.Or that has to compete with you on what you post.We all have that annoying friend on fb.And it makes it uncomfortable if you delete them because you have like 40 mutual friend's and the gossip will start once you delete them.

    It annoys me too. Some parents think their children is so important and that everyone wants to know what their kids say, did or think. Fact is no one cares!

    She's full of crap!

    I think that if you change her relationship to 'an acquaintance' so that you don't get all her crap or it asks you how much info you want from her: Important / Everything. Change it to none if possible and check her out the odd time you feel like it.

        you can also do it from your news feed..there should be a little arrow by her statuses on your news feed you can click and select the option "hide updates" Either way works! I didn't know joybird's way...probably does the same thing!

        Just double checked for you.

        Click on her as a friend and you go on her wall.
        Then where it says FRIENDS hover over it, you'll find that NEWS FEED is ticked. Go into SETTINGS just below that and make your choice.

        I couldn't bear a friend like that :o)

    If I were you I would post on her wall and be sooooo overly enthusiastic about it...like "OMG that is hilarious hahahahahaha wow how adorable is little edward...when he said dog p- I almost fell of my chair!!!...he's something else haha that just made my day!! Ya know I really love these posts you're always doing!! Kids do the darndest things right!!! Hahaha!!!!"

    There's always THAT person on facebook, who wants to post ten million annoying, uneventful things about their mundane lives.

    At first, I would just continually feel my gag reflex at this shit, till eventually, no matter how much I used to like these "friends" I just got sick of it, and deleted them. Unsubscribing works just as well, if you're worried about offending her.

    Now, I just avoid FB all together, because honestly, nobody needs to really post anything. Anything that anybody could possibly post is all egocentric crap (myself included). So, the easiest way to deal with this is to stay off there... and I do.. and lo and behold, I quit feeling the urge to slap a ho.

    I delete people if they post stupid shit. Usually because they commit one (or both) of the following crimes: show their exposed baby bump or posting something about how Jesus is super awesome.
