I don't understand why people would vote "No Way". The important thing is that your body perspires in the process, your heart rate increases to a point similar to if you're outside running and this is done to a set period of time.
In this day and age, we shouldn't be confined to just working out outside. I'm strongly considering getting myself the Kinect for XBOX360 so that I can start working out at home.
not even close
its just a marketing ploy i think. but the Kinect, thats cool :)
It most certainly does. You try playing their boxing games for long periods of time. It'll wear your tail out.
It's way better than sitting on your ass, that's for sure. So yah, it can count as light exercise, depending on the game you're playing.
It counts as exercise but I've yet to meet someone who cited their Wii as the reason for amazing weight loss.
I think it does. Well, if you're playing games like wii sports, otherwise it wouldn't.
Bull shit unless you are playing the Micheal Jackson dance game or some other type of other dance game.
Depends how hard you are working at it. If you are breaking a heavy sweat you are working out. Unless your adrenaline is high enough that you are sweating you are not working out you are just going through the motions’ prefer really punching a person in the face as apposed to wii boxing though if you ask me.
if you play like all the michael Jackson songs in row you will get an okay work out
Well, it's a nice alternative to working out in a gym, but I think it has a slower process. You'd have to play Wii Sports almost everyday.
Depends on the game. Some of those workout games require a lot of energy and you can easily drop 2 pounds each week if you were doing it right.
It's working out somewhat. After your body gets into the routine of the exercises, you will no longer burn calories. That's why people are told that walking is NOT the only and best exercise to do. It's still good to supplement your Wii Fit time with actual outside time.
It counts as more electricity wasted. You could be working out to produce electricity instead of wasting it!
