Does the face or the body matter more?

I see all these polls that say would you rather date someone that is fat with a good personality or someone who is skinny with a bad personality. I realize that the polls are pretty much asking do you care about aperiance or personality. But overweight people can be atractive I've met very good looking overweight people.
And disclaimer I KNOW that there are ugly fat people and pretty skinny people, and I also know more things matter about a girl than her facial features and body, I'm just doing and either or poll. Don't say neither, that's not really the point of the poll.
Oh When I say overweight I mean around the 200lbs area not like very obese people.

Attractive face, but overweight 258
Unatractive face, but nice body 145

    Agreed, you can always fix the body, but you have to be born with a nice face.

    Or pay alot for it.

    Definitely face. I could think about a nice face all day, but a good body wouldn't stick in my mind at all. As long as she hasn't got three arms or something, I could deal with any body shape.

    This poll is bullshit. If a girl has a hot body and the ability to put make up on, she will get guys way more than a fat chick with a pretty face. At least 60 percent of the girls considered to be hottest in my uni dont have special faces, just special bodys and do themselves up nicely. Not a single one is overweight.

      But that isn't beauty. That is coverying up your flaws to make you look 'hot'. If you have an ugly face and a hot body that doesn't make you pretty by putting makeup on. Just because those girl who you consider the 'hottest girls' aren't fat doesn't mean they aren'r ugly. To me you can lose the weight but you can change your face unless you have thousands of dollars to spare.

          but I wasn't asking what men go for. I know most men go for the girls that pack on the makeup, and appear to be pretty. But I'm asking what do you think matters more a pretty face or a nice body. I didn't ask a pretty face with and ugly body or an ugly face covered in a whole bunch of makeup to make them look good and an a good looking body. If you cover it up it doesn't make you any less ugly it just means your hiding it.

    Fat girls can become skinny, but ugly girls can't become pretty. So i choose the face. although i like girls with extra weight not overweight - but who cares? -

    It's really a personality thing for me..
    But if I HAD to chose without the personality being in on it..
    I don't mind overweight but I don't mind an 'ugly' face.

    I would go with overweight but good looking face.

      For a girl, having a nice body will get you far, even if your face isn't attractive because MOST guys look at the body. Most guys look at the body and not the face during sex, I usually look at the breast or the legs and rarely the face. A beautiful face but UGLY body? no can do, she may have a pretty face but your having sex to a something that doesn't turn you on sexually.

    Its really not that hard to get in shape and lose weight, someone who doesnt have a pretty face really isnt left with many other options to fix it.

    I would take a pretty face/mediocre body over ugly face/great body in a relationship.

    I think the face definitely matters. Facial features can tell much about someone. I'm not just talking appearance, but grins, smirks, smiles, stares, glares, squints, etc. When we greet or talk with others, were looking at their face, not their body. And while personality defeats appearance, people will come to befriend the better people in life who aren't interested in body appearance.

    A good body is great but you won't be looking at it 24/7. When you talk to people you are looking at their face. Most of the time you look at people's faces not their body when you're with them. So I would say the face is more important.
