Does she think i was stalking her?

I was on a trail today where basically nobody was around. The weather was gloomy so that was a main reason why. I suddenly saw this woman who was wearing a skirt and heels walking by me. She stopped and looked at a sign while I turned right and looked at the trees. But I kept looking back because I wanted to go up to her and say hi but was too nervous.

Eventually she started walking and a few seconds later I walked too. However she turned around and went back to the same sign she looked at earlier. I kept walking until I reached a nearby bench. Again I saw her but while she was walking up I saw her giving a smile. As she passed by I asked her how she was, and she said good then asked how I was and I said good.

Then that was it. As she kept walking past me I stayed on the bench looking at the scenery. And then I got up but didn't move. I just looked around, but then I look in her direction and she turned around, walked backwards, then kept walking.

I eventually left 30 seconds later and went back home.

I thought she was really cute but I'm an awkward person so I want to go say hi to someone, but don't know how to do it without being nervous as hell. Do you think she thought I was a stalker or what? I didn't want to give off that feeling at all.
