Does it mean a guy likes you if he gives you his jacket to wear?

So I'm eighteen and the guy who lent me his jacket is like in his late 20s. Anyway, the guy and me were alone and he asked me if I was uncomfortable and I said, "No, I'm just cold." (Which was the truth, it's winter and we were in a building with no heating.) He then goes, "Oh I'm not cold at all. You can have my jacket." Before I could say anything he took off his jacket and gave it to me. He just had a short sleeved shirt on too. In the same night, he also managed to ask me if I had a boyfriend (it had to do with what we were talking about though) and he offered twice to drive me "anywhere I needed". Do you think he likes me and/or was flirting?

    He could like you or he could just be really nice.

    In romance books it means he likes you.

    but life isn't a romance book.

    It does however say that he's considerate of you. And that's a start. But don't bank your entire life on just one act.
