Does intimately hugging count as cheating?
Hi!, So I am feeling a bit guilty and confused about my situation, and I would really appreciate some opinions. A couple of months ago I went to study abroad, which is a compulsory a part of my university education. I purposely stayed relatively close to home because I am in a long term relationship (for several years, with my 2nd true love, and we are living together) and we both felt it was important for me to be able to travel back home during holidays and breaks to spend time together.
However, during my stay abroad I met a girl and after spending a couple of months together we became very close, up to the point where we both admitted there is sexual tention and a romantic interest towards eachother.
Thing is, that we are both very rational about this kind of stuff, and both currently in a serious relationship and have no intention of wanting to jeopardize this for what seems to be a simple crush.
In a drunken state we have kissed, but afterwards we both felt guilty and promised to never let this happen again. However, since then we have regularly been meeting up alone, which usually ended up in falling asleep while hugging.
From the girl's perspective one could argue that she is simply seeking affection that she is used to gettig from her bf. but in my case this should not apply. so am i wrong for still wanting this?
