Does he like me? is he too old? is it weird that we are family friends

Ok so I'm a freshman, and my family friends are one sophmore girl named maddy, a 6th grade boy named Logan, and a junior boy named Cody. We have been friends for years and years, (mostly maddy, we are like sisters) and the on election day, that night my parents had a little party and invited maddy's family over and some other family friends.while all of our parents were upstairs watching the election, Cody and I started flirting. Like I was taking pictures on my phone of every one and he was posing and then he took the pool table stick he was using and pointed it right close to my face, standing over me and said "give me the phone, and he tried to restle it from my hands" and we were laughing and flirting all night.
That night, he let me look into his eyes for the first Time. It's not something we had ever discussed, or I had noticed, that he never looked into my eyes, until he did. From across the room, he looked straight into them, and smiled. Something weird happened. All the kids and my friends literally appeared to disapeer as I stared into his deep brown eyes.... And we kept staring for what felt like forever.
yesterday, i saw him again. we went to the beach and grilled some burgers for charity, but the only people that were there were me, him, my mom and dad, and his mom. we were flirting the whole time and grew a stronger bond. on the car ride back, i had to sit close to him so our legs and arms were touching cuz i was in between him and his mom. but we were far enough apart that we didnt have to rub up against each other AT ALL :) so we were both doing it on purpose :) we went on omegle on my phone and said inappropriate stuff to people, so he saw i had a rebellious side. he was coming on strong, we would keep looking at eachother and we were already really close to each others faces and smiling. :) we also played connect four on his phone and we did that thing where we were leaning in really close to each other and looking at the screen. after, we went back to my house. he went to the bathroom and when he came out, we were alone, because our parents were outside and they were about to go home. He said "Alright so... bye' and did a cute little wave but still remained in the same spot; staring at me. I knew he was anticipating a kiss....he was waiting for me to kiss him... no doubt. but i felt it wasnt the right time so i just said "bye" smiled and walked up the stairs. Now i really like him... but i just dont know what to do. Do u think he likes me? what do you get from all this?

This is adorable. Enjoy your crush! It's completely normal, and it's totally fine that he's a family friend. I have a feeling that he just might like you as well. Keep following your instincts! It will all play out in time, so long as you be yourself.

    Good luck!

That's part of crushing. Whenever you're ready you should be able to kiss him. Don't rush it. Let it come to you guys.

You'd get more responses if you used paragraphs.
Most people just skip the story completely when they see a wall of text.

Ah, I remember those days! When it was all cuteness like this and the boys were still nervous! I'd say go for it! Family friends are okay, one of my early crushes was a family friend. I remember his older sister pushing our heads together to try and make us kiss. It never happened though
    :(
As for that awkward goodbye at the end, though, I would go in for a hug before a kiss. Don't want to come on TOO strong. Unless you guys already hug...just make it a long close hug then. Oh, but this is adorable!

  • Just let him keep the cat. If you are gonna split up an you have your family to return to then he should at least get the pet. I know its hard but you'll both make it through. You can always buy a dog.

It seems he wants to be mire than friends, but you are both young and neither of you wanted to make the big move on the other! If he is what you desire, don't play games with him and his feelings, make your moves clear! Good luck with your choices
