So i gave a guy that I'm interested in my number and told him to text/call sometime.He said sure and took it.However I ran into him the next day and the first thing he said was "not only did I lost your number but I broke my phone at soccer last night. yet he didn't ask for my number again

I feel like he was trying to let me down easy...I just don't believe him.I know things like this happen but it is too much of concidence that now he broke his phone after getting my number. Should I just forget about it?

    never underestimate how oblivious a guy can be. I speak from personal experience, I've had girls hit on me so hard a 2 year old could tell me what's going on and I didn't realize it until thinking about it much latter on.

    I think it's safe to say that he knows you are interested, and that he isn't interested in you. Time to look elsewhere.
