Its hard to believe that my bf doesn't care about me but at the same time its easy to believe it too.

Its hard to believe because he's still with me after everything we've been through plus he finally made an official step in our relationship. He also makes an effort to see each other.

Its easy to believe because it just seems like he lacks enthusiasm and emotions with me. For ex, hell make the effort to come see me and once were together, he doesn't seem to be excited with me at all. He claims that's how he is but ugh I just don't buy it because he's excited to be around other people I see it but with me no. Yet, I trace back to us in the beginning and he would show enthusiasm. Could it be because he just has a bad habit that once he settles he doesn't feel the need to be enthusiastic? Or just recently, I'm breaking my head into pieces about going to go see him or Vegas and he told me I should do Vegas. I feel like okay does that mean that if he was in my position he wouldn't even hesitate and choose Vegas over seeing me? What does that say about the quality he sees in our relationship?

I don't know there's more to it but that's like the gist of it

    Sounds like one of those guys who likes companionship but doesn't like intimacy. Don't waste your time with that oddball. You can instead get a guy who will show you a good time. A guy like me, for instance. hehe...
    But only if you're smoking hot.

    He might be just pretending to be enthusiastic about other people's company. With you, it seems like he thinks he can be himself.

      Yeah I think it is just another case of him already feeling comfortable with me and he knows he has me so there's no need to be enthusiastic. Although he does say he is excited to see me, it would be nice if he did show he was excited unless hes not excited at all and thats what I'm worried about.

    How long have you actually been together? It's normal to lose the same spark that you had for each other in the beginning but it's worth it to work to get it back. Just trust that he cares about you. This is something you need to talk to him about.

      We've been together for a year but gradually became official.

      What makes me rethink he does care about me is when I directly ask him if he does and he gets this look of realization or sadness and says he does. Almost as if he feels bad at me feeling this way. Well if he does care about me then show it! But like I said he claims that's how he is. I've been trusting him that he does care but its also been painful whenever I get my hopes up.
