Coffee in itself is okay, but it's the sugar you've got to watch out for, but why are you bothered putting a bit of weight on is hardly the end of the flippin world. xx
Coffee by itself, no.
If you use a ton of sugar and creamer however you will add a lot of calories.
In the short term, yes. Whatever the coffee weighed, you will add to your weight because it's now inside you.
In the medium term, no. Caffeine is a diuretic and you will lose more fluid than you put inside you.
In the long term, no. Caffeine is a stimulant and is more likely to suppress appetite and cause weight loss.
No.
I practically live on the stuff (often up to 8 cups a day, sometimes even more) and I'm quite skinny.

It's zero calories. Now if it's added to the sugar fatty drinks of course you'll gain weight.
Coffee actually can be good for you depending on how much you drink in a day. It can be a good laxative if you have shitting issues and it has antioxidants.
Coffee on its own has zero calories, so no. If you are the type of person that uses a lot of cream and sugar, or prefers the fancy syrup-filled drinks from the coffee shop yes, it will make you gain weight.
Caffeine is a stimulant. I think if anything it would cause weight loss, but I'm not certain.
