Does being adopted increase adoption rates?

I'm wondering if being adopted effects the rates of the said adoptee adopting a child or multiple kids as well. Is it more likely for people to adopt if they themselves are adopted too (or if they have adopted siblings)? If you're adopted, will you adopt as well (For those who want kids)? I'm not adopted but I want to adopt one day myself.

There's probably a study that can objectively either confirm or disprove your hypothesis. Try and find it.

Why would this poster bother taking the time and effort looking for the answer online, when it's so much easier to get someone else to spend their time looking it up?
Actually, it probably would have taken lees time and effort than posting, don't you think?

Forget about "EccentricWeord". Apparently he is trying to make a point. He is not a respected voice here.
I think you will find that there is no cross reference to whether a person was adopted and those that adopt. I think it has more to do with if they in fact could get pregnant.

I was adopted myself and went to meet my birth father a few years ago it was a horrible experience and he turned out to be really nasty . I got very upset to the point I tried to take my life I ended up in hospital and lost my job. I would never adopte myself as I wouldn't be able to handle a child going through what I went through
