i know you are going to laugh, but i am really afraid of clowns!!! i have clownofobia. i hate them, i am very scared when i see them. they are ugly, and for sure, under their make up they hide their mean personality!!!

    I think its normal at least. Clowns are creepy and definitely not funny. i think it has something to do with the fact of the makeup all over and it's some stranger underneath you know nothing about and they get in your face. That and the movie "IT".

    Coulrophobia is the technical term for the fear of clowns, if it has a technical name i definatly believe there is justification in fearing them.

    What is the difference between a stocking mask ski mask or clown makeup.... Ur instinct says "danger"

    They r not natural ... And men in makeup... Creapy! Instinct tells u it could b danger ... Also there r enough evil movies that we have seen which we refer back to...

    i understand how people could be afraid of clowns. but i love them:) its just their personality and that they would wear rediculous clothing just to entertain others. haha

    When I was a teenager I was terrified of clowns. One drove past me in a car once and he or she looked at me and I started crying and my boyfriend at the time thought I was nuts. Maybe I was traumatized when I was forced to watch It the Clown when I was a kid by some older friends. But yeah, f clowns. They're not funny and no normal person wants to be a clown. I still find them quite creepy and I won't go to the circus (plus, I don't believe in using wild animals for entertainment).
