Does anyone else hear voices in their head

Is it normal that sometimes i hear voices say things in my head? what worries me is that they say things that don't seem like they would come from me, and its usually one of like 2 or three things that they say. im sure everyone hears voices, but these voices almost seem like they are coming from somewere else and not just being said by me within my head. o ya it also gets worse if im anxious about something. im sure this sounds bizarre does anybody know what im talking about? is it something serious or just something everyone goes through?

Your either a sensitive on the verge of being psychic or a schizophrenic on the verge of psychosis. Flip a coin.

Um, I'm pretty sure that that's called your conscience.

I can't say on this one because you haven't given that much info. Are you hearing your own thoughts somewhat audibly or is there somehow, something else that is speaking to you? The latter could be quite concerning, particularly if you are threatened by it in any way. The former is merely a form of internal dialogue and is experienced by a lot of people and probably is not part of a mental condition.

  • I get the same thing at night. The things you hear come from within you and are entirely yours and not from the outside. As long as it isn't bothering you and/or keeping you up at night than you haven't gone nuts

I've been hearing voices since I was a small child. I think I'm schizophrenic and it could be the sane for you. My voices come and go. When I was a child, they would threaten me to do this and that. A few years ago, they came back because I was taking anger medication and they told me to (rip out the windows to my soul). It took many years for them to go away. They're back now, but they mostly "talk" when I'm trying to sleep. However, they don't seem to be talking directly to me. It's like I'm observing their conversations with "others", but they are loud as god knows what and it's so hard to sleep sometimes. Look up schizophrenia symptoms and present your findings to a doctor. I'm currently in the process myself, but it's a complex and annoying process.

    Good Luck!
