You know, like in every movie and TV show ever. Someone's having a nightmare or something and he SUDDENLY wakes up and sits up violently, sweating and out of breath. Possibly also yelling "nooo!"
Does this actually happen to anyone?
no i have never done that but when it was thundering outside like at 4 in the morning there was this super loud thundering sound and it was so loud it woke me up and i sat bolt upright in bed and i only thought they did that in movies and that thunder was loud because i am the most heaviest sleeper in my family! not even a babies screaming will wake me!
i did that once..had such a terrible nightmare at 4 in the morning i had to wake up my room mates to tell them about it
Not long after my mother died, I heard her call my name. I sat bolt upright in bed. Was it a dream? Could be. I was not sweating or anything like that, but I did suddenly sit straight up, listening to see if she would call me again.
Yes it can happen. Espshaly when your blind because you are disoriented and stuff.8-||
I do, I sit up Abruptly and start gasping for air and my vision goes black for a second. But I dont do that from a sleep, when im like half asleep is when i do it.
No. Usually I just thrash and scream. I've never seen someone do it in real life.
I had some weird sleep problems when I was 15 and this used to happen to me between thirty and fifty times a night, every night.
