Does advancement actually make people stupider?

I noticed something. Right now is the technology age for the world. Everyone is becoming either souly reliant on technology for the 1st world and for the third world they are coming to the level the 1st worlds started at. Yet right now the world is having money problems, as well as education and obesity problems. So it makes you wonder. Does advancement actually make people stupider? People are becoming fatter and much stupider and school systems are failing. The fact that now you can do virtually anything on a computer does not help the health of the world or save people from poor education. Any thoughts on this?

We are quite clever in our laziness.

I think as we advance in technology we should also advance in economy and political system.

Since we use the same "money" economy since the first century or even sooner, I am not even surprised that the world is falling apart right under our feet.

It is like, buying a new graphic card for the computer but keeping the same old rusty one core processor.

    • What kind of money do you think we should use? Also no one seems to know how to make a good economical set up since they all crash and burn. None of them are fair and they exclude certien groups while favoring another.

        No economical system

You work for free, you get things you want, you don't work you don't get anything.

I also came up with a "karma" system which is a little bit fictional but I am not going to spread the details.

It might sound crazy but I think shooting anyone who would break the law I mean literally solve a lot of issues.

People wouldn't bother fucking other people over if they knew their life is in stake.

Oh and it would also fix out little "overpopulation" problem.

            • Yes but they can shoot you. You are asking for no laws meaning that rape, stealing, killing will only be stopped if you are strong enough to stop it. If not you just have to deal with shit happening. So do you think someone simply having more guns means they can rape, kill and steal whatever they want? Since that is the world you are asking for and that is anarchy. So you might like to reconsider what you really are suggesting since that is complete and utter madness. If you can does not mean you should but in your suggestion anything that can always will happen since nothing is stopping it.

  • Or you could take this new technology by the balls and use it as a tool to make yourself smarter. That's my plan.

You can't do advanced calculus in your head or see a cells nucleus with your naked eye. You need a calculator and a microscope.

Your sentence is a paradox, which makes me giggle.

School systems fail because of immigration from poor illiterate countries.

That sounds like a name of some prehistoric being. I can already imagine a sign in front of an exhibit in a museum that reads "Moar Stupidier" and the exhibit looks exactly like a human from the 21st century.
