Does a person who loves you violently push you away at night ?

My girlfriend and I live together; at night I try to cuddle with her when she is asleep. She's punched me; kicked me; and typically scoots away from me and refuses to let me touch her ... she claims she is asleep when this is happening. This happens _every single time I have tried to cuddle with her._

No person who has ever loved me has treated me in such a way; awake or asleep. I feel rejected; and do not believe that a person who is in love behaves like that towards a loved one, even when asleep.

Most nights, I end up feeling so horrible that I sleep on the 'couch.'

Is her behavior normal ?

    Nonono she doesn't want to be bothered in her sleep she likes her own space but may be hard for her to tell you that without making u mad or question her not ALL girls like to cuddle WHILE there sleeping.

    Well my bf says I do that to him to and sometimes I can kinda recall it and sometimes I can't, but it's never on purpose. I have trouble sleeping. It's hard for me to get to sleep and if I'm woken up it's hard for me to get back to sleep. He knows this and after we talked about he respected it and now just let's me sleep. I agree with the person who said if she didn't like you then she wouldn't be with you.

    Not everybody likes to cuddle in their sleep. I think you should just talk to her about it and not jump to conclusions, it's probably nothing (:

    I've never heard of that happening before. The fact that she claims to be asleep could be lies however it depends on how much trust u guys have. Suggest seeing a doctor or physist, it could be reflexes. Don't think the worst bud.

    My gf is the same way. Drives me crazy and breaks my heart. But she's had traumatizing events that happen to her in the past.

    Its normal. I like sleeping and I don't want to be touched while I'm trying to sleep. Maybe she just wants to sleep by herself? Get 2 beds lol.

    Well maybe she just wants her space when she is sleeping. I wouldn't think anything of it. Especially if she only reacts to you this way when she is asleep. Normal I say.

    well does she cuddle with you when you're both awake watching tv or something? If she doesn't then something might be up, otherwise maybe she just doesn't like to be smothered in her sleep.

    Ok..so u r adults.. i mean u r not kids anymore and if she didn't like u she wouldn't be with u.
    It might be in her sleep.. when i was 5 i used to kick a lot in my sleep when i was sleeping to the same bed with someone..maybe when i was alone too..idk! But it might be the kind of a sleeper who doesn't like it.
    U could just ask her if she's lying, and u could also tell her that if she doesn't like cuttle in her sleep just tell it to u and u will respect that!.. That may make her tell the truth.!
