I don't see the logic for people who say that we should over-eat because we are in a rich country. Surely we should eat what we are comfortable with eating, save money on food and give the money we save to charities so the third world countries DO get fed. Over-eating "because we can" is pointless, and amounts to rubbing the noses of third world countries in it (whatever "it" actually is).
yeah my grandma is the same. is an italian thing. italians love food but we dont sit on our asses and get fat, we still do work around the house and garden to work it off. and its hard not to eat her food because its SO DAMN GOOD! home cooking is the best!
