Yeah do you watch the shows like X factor(UK & US) or 'The Voice' or 'American Idol', 'Britians Got Talent' 'So you think you can Dance?' etc.

Hate them. I watched the first season of American Idol and all I could think was, these people are just looking for a cookie-cutter voice. If someone like Willie Nelson, Axl Rose, Macy Gray, ect had auditioned, they'd be laughed off stage and dismissed. There's no leeway for individuality in those shows.
Not really. I do find it hysterical when the really bad singers get up there. I'll sit thru a little of americas best dance crew or something just because I think its amazing what some people can make their body do. I can't dance, or sing. It pisses me off because in my head there's always a concert going on and I'm amazing! I'm sad now :( I'd consider selling my soul to be able to sing and groove any way I felt like. Damn it all!
Used to. But like the poster above me, I am sick unto death of someone who relies on a sob story and crying on TV about something irrelevant. Grow up!
Those shows always include a sad mopey story to get the audience to feel sorry for someone and then watch through to the end to see their 'success'. Sometimes I feel for certain people but in the end its just a big fat fucking gimmick and this is why I don't watch these types of shows.
I don't love them, but I usually get drawn in by the hype at some point. There's a reason they're so popular. It's not quality entertainment, but very watchable (kind of like a car crash). Since it's mass entertainment it also makes quite a good talking point with people who you don't have much else in common with (like my colleagues at my last job).
watching Xfactor now atm....quite pleased with last nights results. I'm watching the US version too. I have a few people in mind of who I want to go through to the live shows but I forgot thier names.
they are great for me cause i like singing, i liked hearing ronan parke singing lady gagas song Edge of glory and jack vidgen singing anything
