Do you want to have kids?

Never.

And I've been given shit over not wanting to have kids - not from my parents thankfully, but sometimes from family friends, and especially from school. I got people bugging me in high school - at age 16! - that I should have kids. As if I should automatically want to have kids because I have a vagina. Stupid societal pressure and bullshit. I don't even like children, and I can't think of a single reason why I would WANT to have children. I'm definitely not in a position to think about having children right now, but I'm sick of certain people telling me that I'll change my mind.

First of all, I don't like kids.

Secondly, I had a horrible childhood myself.

Thirdly, I don't generally like the world and don't feel like it's my right to inflict it's ever-increasing horrors on someone else.

Sorry to sound dramatic/fatalistic, but there it is.

I certainly don't want kids. Reasons of why i don't want kids are that they get real annoying as they grow older, and they spend a lot of money :p, i know that because I do that too. :P

I'm not sure if I wanna have any, raising kids is a tremendous responsibility, I'm not talking money here.

Kids are NASTY

Although I think that kids are the next generation to our country's future success, I don't think I want kids. It's to much of a responsibility and just thinking about the delivery is ............... disturbing. And not to mention looking very painful.

Raising kids is a big responsibility, even if you adore kids. But as they become mature adults around the age of 25 to 35 depending on their maturity, is well worth the pay off when raising them right.....

NO NAY NEVER. I hate kids, can't stand marriage and not extremely fond of women as a long term partner. I've been thinking about vasectomy, but then i might become reckless about condoms and my parents wouldn't take it kindly, they still harbor some hopes for me to become a dad someday.

I have 3 friends that are teen moms and they say it's difficult so I am waiting until I am married.

life every time goes from worse to worst.and it gets from hard to harder.and sometimes the one wish if he did not exist and sometimes chooses to die or even ask himself 'why am i suppose to live?'.i don't think the one -one like me- can love to get kids in such a life like that.just feel lucky if u have a lovely woman,love her so much and make her ur baby coz she did not choose also to exist.

I'm working on my first child as we speak lol. I have 8 weeks left until my son gets here ^_^ me and my husband are happy ^_^

Don't want them, don't like them. Decided at the age of 8 I didn't want them and never changed my mind.

Though I love my kiddos to bits I miss not having the ultimate responsibility. Perhaps I just wish I did not have kids with the woman I had them with. Parenting is an outrageously expensive endeavor and the rewards really ain't great. It truly is a set up.

I may just be weird, but I absolutely hate children. Whenever I see those little shits I feel like kicking them in the head would be a fun thing to do!
Obviously there is something very wrong with that, and I'm pretty sure I would be abusive if I ever had children and that's really something I wouldn't want anyone to go through. I'm so glad I'm asexual, so there is no risk of ever becoming such a terrible person in real life....

We've been trying for 5 years and now the warm ootsey cutesy 'we want kids' feelings are gone. I 've been sad, annoyed, angry, jealous...I hate roller coaster rides. No kids for us. We'll enjoy motorcycle riding and recreational flying with no kids attatched. I'll visit my nieces and newphews if I want kids for a day.

I dont understand how alot of girls always say I Never want Kids. Again just saying its not always completely up to them and accidents can happen lol. But you shouldnt think that because if something does happen you dont wanna be thinking 'I never wanted this kid' And as for me yeah id like a kid or two to continue on my family name and just for the experience.

I want kids for sure, if I had the money and patience to raise six or seven I probably would.

I have one. She's 10. I wanted another for years but we aren't exactly financially stable right now. I don't think I'll be having any more now. I'm almost 31 and I don't want to be much older than that having kids. Its ok. My daughter is awesome and she's all I need :)
