Do you use the thumbs up/down to rate people's comments?

I do. I haven't been using this website long, but I often mark thumbs up/down on comments if I think they're giving good (or bad) advice, and I always make sure to give the thumbs down to ignorant or hateful comments.
The thing is though, most every comment is at "1," and I rarely see them at zero or two. So it seems to me not many other people use this feature. Do you? If you don't, then why not?

    You would be surprised at some of the things people comment. I swear I use the thumbs down to a point where it should be busted :)

    My only issue is it seems that I can repeatedly click on a thumbs up/down and still affect the score. For example, I just gave TheManagement a thumbs up. Came back here to check my poll ten minutes later and they received a thumbs down. So I gave them another thumbs up.

    It's not supposed to work like that, is it?

      There's no problem in that really. That way you can still change it if you for example misclicked. You can't give thumbs up twice, but you can just change it to thumbs down instead (and vice versa).

    "I use it only when I think a post really deserves it."

    I use this when it applies to very good replies or to very bad (or rude) replies.
