Do you trust morticians?

Do you have any fears that your future mortician will steal from you (gold teeth etc), have sex with your corpse, do experiments on you or do any other disturbing things when he gets ahold of you? Or what about mixing up your ashes with someone else's or just plain doing a very shoddy job and completely disrespecting your body? Selling your still sellable body parts? Even just having a good laugh over your bod??

    I guess it's like any profession. You have to look at the reason people get into it. Some people have positive reasons, some have some dark compulsions. Like people who work with children. Or politicians.

    I'd like to think most people do things for the right reasons, though.

    Well, except politicians.

    I could care less, I'm dead so if they want to get some pathetic kick out of whatever the hell they might do to me, I don't care.

    Besides they'd get found out or caught eventually.

      Well it's disrespectful nonetheless. Especially since you or your family is paying them, it would be a shame if they paid for service and you got violated.

      I honestly don't know how one gauges how to trust these people. It's not like the clients can complain.

        I do not think most of them want sex with dead bodies. However would take a special kind of person to do this kind of job. I have never suspected this and I would never assume that a mortician is doing this. However if I am dead I can not feel anything. I would however be upset if it was a family member I am close to.
