    I grew up poor, so I was rather grubby and smelly. It made me feel quite ugly. Nowadays, I can actually take care of myself, so I feel prettier and healthier.
    So, I used to feel ugly, but now I feel okay with myself. I wouldn't mind a nicer body, but the face is mostly fine. I can honestly say that I seem to be aging gracefully, though I have kinks to work out.

    I'm kind of ashamed to admit this, though: I feel prettiest when someone who used to pick on me runs into me, realizes who I am, and then immediately gets jealous. It's a very particular look they get. The look of "How did someone like you end up being cooler and/or prettier than me?" I feel bad that the tables turning make me feel kind of good.
