Do you think you get more direct results from test people or animals?

We test medication and cosmetics on animals. Do you think you get a more reliable result from a human or a animals. Now I am not saying we force this on anyone. I am saying for this that the person volunteered to tested for medical science.

    Animal testing is the first phase and then, if it's reasonable, safe enough and (potentially) beneficial enough to proceed, testing begins on humans.

    It only takes an ounce of common sense to realise humans are more useful test subjects when experimenting with cosmetics and drugs for human use. But we endanger other animals first until we're confident in the product. It's not one or the other, it's usually both - like wigsplitz said.
