I try, without success often times...
The word "righteous" makes me think of hippie language :)
Yes, I'm righteous and totally awesome! Party on...be excellent to each other!
Depends by whose standards. If it's by Christian standards I'm pure evil and proud of it lol.
I'm a random, gay, pot smoking, atheist that enjoys lots and lots of sex. According to the people in my hometown all of that makes me "immoral." Fuck them all!
Based on general, society's morals, I'm purely evil =P
Based on my own morals... wait I have none^^
I think so, although calling yourself "righteous" sounds more than a bit... self-righteous :P
Everyone follows their own moral code, even if that moral code allows you to be a dick to everyone. By that logic everyone thinks of themselves as righteous, even if not everyone else thinks they are. Well, that's unless they believe in moral universalism, but since nobody knows what those universal morals would be I'll neatly ignore that.
So yes, I think I'm a morally good person. Don't know about what everyone thinks though.
Morals are individualistic so in a sense, everyone is morally correct to themselves. There are things about myself though that I personally don't think are moral but do anyway. So I wouldn't call myself righteous at all.
No, I don't think so, and I guess that's why people are so shocked by some things I say/do. Morals are weird things, I don't always get them.
I would say so. I certaintly preach a lot about things that I feel are good.
Hmm, I don't know. It's hard for me to know, when some things I do for moral reasons don't even pop up on other people's moral radar, and when some things other people view as immoral don't seem wrong to me at all. So, if I'm basing it on my own moral "code", I do try to stick to it and practice what I preach. Basing it on other morals is where it'd get tricky. And it's not like my morals, or anyone's, are solid and don't ever change.
Overall, I'm just normal, though. I'm capable of doing both good and bad things, and I have done both good and bad things, and will continue to do the same. I think I'm fairly good though, and it is something I care about. I don't think I'd ever call myself righteous, though.
