Do you think women shouldn't have kids after 35?

Or stop having kids for that matter. Do you think that the childbearing age can even be increased as long as the woman's healthy and able to remain alive until the child(ren) are 18?

Yes (The older the woman is, the more problems there can be) 15
No (Women can still have healthy pregnancies past 35) 27

What question are we answering? The one in the title or the one in the description?

I think people who want a child, can provide for the child and are healthy enough to conceive and raise their child should have a child. No other factor matters to me.

My mum had her first child at 40 and me at 44. It's kind of frustrating that they were not able to be as physically active as I was growing up because they were older and now I have to deal with many of their health issues while I'm still young. Of course I don't feel like its effected me too much, I just think it's easier to have children at a younger age.

My aunt had her first child the day after her 40th birthday. Her kids are the healthiest kids in our family.

If they've had 35 kids then, yes, it's probably time to stop. For everyone's sake!

I think that you are on a mission to stop people having babies.

Yes. The unborn don't choose to be born, let alone with birth defects.

Not only are there higher risks of Downs Syndrome and other problems in women over 35, when older women have children, they are thinking only of themselves and not the children they will bring into the world. Children need their parents, particularly their mothers, and if a woman gives birth at 40, when her child graduates high school, she will be almost 60 and likely will be dead by the time her kids get out on their own and establish their own households. Additionally, grandparents are important in a child's life and if a woman is 60 when her child graduates high school, her own parents will likely be in their 80s or dead.

The oldest woman to have kids was in her 60's. I personally think that that was too old but under 50 (which most women can't even have kids after that age anyway) I don't think there is anything wrong with having kids.

The worst thing about that case is that the woman died when the kids were about 2 years old and they were cared for by their seventy-something uncle.
