Of course. Sexism, racism and bigotry are all on the decline in many societies. I'd go as far as to say greed and war are too, because at least people broadly realise that war and greed are bad, which is more than we can say for our own society in the past. Scarcity of resources can be traced back to greed, and will decline as greed does. And overpopulation is not a problem in and of itself, and the other problems it causes could be easily solved in a greed-free society.
