    I'm not the OP, but technophobic does mean afraid of technology, I'm pretty sure.

    I think it depends what networks you watch; in the UK a lot of the news channels have dedicated technology shows and such like, so I don't think it applies here. I've never noticed a Luddite leaning on news shows myself.

      I believe it is a fear of technology, or maybe techno music, in the latter case I am technophobic.
