I think the consumption of animals is wrong, so I guess I'm possibly a bit biased. But yeah, I think the consumption of dogs is wrong.
Culturally consumption of dog is flawed upon for me.
BUT I have no issues with people consuming Dogs, what does concern me is the well being of these animals before and during slaughter. The same goes with other animals that is deemed acceptable to consume in the West.
Yes! I don't eat any meat, but I'm not a preacher. However, animals that are supposed to be pets should not be food. From what I've heard, dog meat has been banned in Thailand. If that's true I'm so glad to hear it.
really???????
dogs are a really faithful type animal. i think its wrong to eat dogs. (omg)
I just couldn't bring myself to eat dog unless it was a life/death situation.
I eat meat. I'd certainly try dog if it was offered/available.
A part of this, I admit, the shock value: many meat eaters are a bit precious about what they will eat. Dogs are pets etc. well, pigs and sheep can be pets, but still taste good.
I accept dinz's comments above. The meat industry is not known for its humane values. And here in UK we currently have the horsemeat 'scandal', brought about at least in part by peoples' demand for everything as cheap as possible all the time.
Another dog thing that does concern me: carnivores only usually eat herbivores, yet a dog is an omnivore. Anyone got any input on this aspect?
