Do you think syphilis is a good idea for a costume?

I have two friends who have joint birthday party coming up. Their names start with S and T. In light of this, they're having a birthday party where everyone has to dress up as something that starts with S or T. I think it would be funny to go as the disease syphilis.

If you think it's a good idea. Please comment with suggestions on how to put the costume together.

      You could go as what the actual bacteria looks like. Like the giant plush microbes, they have plushies of all the STDs :P

    My great-great-grandfather got syphilis in New York. Sounds made up, actually true. Maybe you could go to the party naked apart from seven hats all worn one on top of the other (but only in the presence of vicars). Also sounds made up, also actually true.

    The story gets spun out at every family funeral. I hope I leave a story like this.

    syphilis... nah... how about a transexual! (aka, chick w/dick) ur already a girl, u just need a fake dick under your skirt! get one that's a squirt gun so u can flash people, and by the end of the nite after everybody's tipsy and what not, flash somebody, and pull the trigger so your fake dick 'pees' on them... that would be a hoot!
