    Sex should be more than just a systematic chore. I don't think you can get "too" romanticized with it.

    Romance and feelings should be the precursor for good sex. In my opinion, and experience and human emotion of both individuals, is a very important element to a satisfying sexual experience. Bam,bam, thank you mam, and or sir, is usually pretty damn dull. One can masturbate, and have the same result. boring, for sure.

      this is true. sex should be about both physical and mental/emotional/psychological. purely physical sex is boring and empty, but when emotions are involved, it becomes entirely something else. more meaningful and intimate and a special bond is formed with your partner. and things feel so good. this is also why i detest porn that emphasizes the physical element without taking into account the emotional aspect that makes sex more enjoyable.

    I like sex, and I also think there is a big difference between 'fucking' and 'making love'. You can have hot n heavy sex with a stranger, you can have bad sex with a stranger, you can have a 'fuck' with your friend / partner and you can also 'make love' to your partner.

    I think that stereotypical romantic sex, like rose petals and silk sheets, candles and looking into each other's eyes as you slowly thrust into each other can bring out strong emotions and make it make than just physical.

    Equally, a couple in love can also 'fuck' where it's less romantic, and it's more about the physical aspect of sex.

    I think to make love needs an emotional bond, whereas anyone can fuck someone else.
