Do you think outie navels are disgusting/weird/ugly?

I'm completely serious when I say this is just about the only internet debate that instantly pisses me off. I was homeschooled, so I never showered with other girls and thus, I never saw any innies in person. I knew they existed, but I thought outies were the majority. Last year I found out I was wrong. Online, there's always at least five people in an innie vs outie topic that find them disgusting/weird/ugly.

So... tell me, do you dislike bellybuttons/navels that poke out?

    Of course I dislike them! They steal my left socks, they eat my sardines, they don't put the toilet seat down, and they never ever say sorry!

    I have an innie/outie hybrid if that makes sense. I've really never given a second thought about it. No one has complained so far.

    I don't think I've seen one in years... If I encountered one I'd probably find it unusual, but it's hardly disgusting.

    You people saying it's gross are probably the same people that on a question about finding scars or stretch marks unattractive say "they are beautiful, they show you've lived!"

    Outies are sexy to look at on a woman and, depending on the woman, her protruding umbilicus can be extremely sensitive and erotic for her. Outies are somewhat rare and women who love navel foreplay even rarer, sadly.

    You know, I really don't pay enough attention to belly buttons to even have any feelings towards them.

    Unless it was horribly grotesque and necrotic, I don't think I'd have an aesthetic issue.

      Same here!

      These comments are making my eyes pop and I'm laugh at people's negative responses. I had no inclination that people didn't like certain shapes of belly buttons and they seem so passionate about it too. I feel bad for the outies now because I don't think there is anything bad about them. It's not a tail.

    The ones that stick waaay out, I've only seen on two people. One's my niece and nephew's little friend and she's really cute with it. The other is this girl I went to middle school with and it worked for her. I don't think they're gross or disgusting.
