    I'm not American, so I don't know much, but in terms of the international perception of America, Obama is a fucking VAST improvement upon Bush, even if he is only a pretty face on an ugly system.

    I hate the government all together. It's corrupt. Republicans and Democrats are always fighting each other, talking about how the other party is corrupt. BOTH PARTIES ARE CORRUPT! We need to bring back our Founding Fathers. Maybe they could fix our fucked up government.

    as a person, yes.he is a good man. but as the president. no. i don't feel like he is because if he really wanted to make a difference like he said he would, we wouldn't have as many problems as we do today. but then again George bush, fucked it up even more with going on with the war.

      You can't fix a messed up nation in 4 years, that's already been messed up by previous presidents. Romney plans to be like the old Bush, or even Bill Clinton. We don't need any of this "Bronze Age" shit. We need a new better, economy, and Obama needs more time to do so, if he didn't care about the country, or if he was racist, he wouldn't run for president. Grow some damn sense.

      Also, your Fire and Police Departments are funded by taxpayer money, meaning that they are "socialist" public services. So the US is partly "socialist" already.

    I voted other because I think that he achieved something huge in getting elected, but from what I understand (I'm not American so I don't want to be presumptuous and admit I could be off but I do follow American politics) he really hasn't done much of what he meant to do as president, so he may not be the great problem solver a lot of people (myself included) were hoping for.

    Obama cares as much about middle America as every other politician going back who knows how far. (Translation: He doesn't!) I don't see Obama doing things like stopping large corporations from taking over or to stop the trend of American wealth going into fewer hands. (The upper 10% already possess 80% of the wealth in America.)

    But alas, Obama is more than just another white boy in the White House!
