I'm not American, so I don't know much, but in terms of the international perception of America, Obama is a fucking VAST improvement upon Bush, even if he is only a pretty face on an ugly system.

I hate the government all together. It's corrupt. Republicans and Democrats are always fighting each other, talking about how the other party is corrupt. BOTH PARTIES ARE CORRUPT! We need to bring back our Founding Fathers. Maybe they could fix our fucked up government.

You can't fix a messed up nation in 4 years, that's already been messed up by previous presidents. Romney plans to be like the old Bush, or even Bill Clinton. We don't need any of this "Bronze Age" shit. We need a new better, economy, and Obama needs more time to do so, if he didn't care about the country, or if he was racist, he wouldn't run for president. Grow some damn sense.

Obama will do nothing but bring socialism to America. And I'm sorry. but IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!
Don't believe me? Look at the USSR. Wait... NOT AROUND ANYMORE!!!
    Get my point?
Socialism will always lead to dictatorship. Always has, always will. Obama has done nothing but taken capitalism away from America.

Do you even know what the word "socialism" means? Turn off Faux News dumbass.

      Comment Hidden ( show )
    • BHolt

You have no idea what socialism is do you? I am Australian, technically Australia is a "socialist" country.

Also, your Fire and Police Departments are funded by taxpayer money, meaning that they are "socialist" public services. So the US is partly "socialist" already.

Don't allow yourself to be brainwashed by sh*t like Fox News. They're a propaganda machine for the conservatives who want you to be consumer whores who don't know anything about the world outside the US and who follow instructions blindly. Grow up and open your eyes.

I voted other because I think that he achieved something huge in getting elected, but from what I understand (I'm not American so I don't want to be presumptuous and admit I could be off but I do follow American politics) he really hasn't done much of what he meant to do as president, so he may not be the great problem solver a lot of people (myself included) were hoping for.

  • TotalAspie

Obama cares as much about middle America as every other politician going back who knows how far. (Translation: He doesn't!) I don't see Obama doing things like stopping large corporations from taking over or to stop the trend of American wealth going into fewer hands. (The upper 10% already possess 80% of the wealth in America.)

But alas, Obama is more than just another white boy in the White House!

and then there is the fact that he opened the door for a whole race of people who had been oppressed for 400 years...

Yes, but a brilliant idiot. One with a great speaking voice and some carefully crafted charisma, who found the magic formula to surf on a huge wave of white guilt right into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
He knows as much about economics as PeeWee Herman does about hypersonic aerothermodynamics, but thanks to a TelePrompTer and a media who's in the tank for him, he manages to cover it up.

If you thank a Harvard-educated constitutional scholar was elected to the Harvard Law Review by his fellow students is an idiot.. YOU JUST MIGHT BE A RACIST.

      Comment Hidden ( show )
  • He is a racist piece of crap! He obviously hates white people and his white family. Wouldn't prosecute the black panthers, the Boston Professor beer summit issue, his stance on prosecuting black crimes against whites, ect... Being in a racist Church for 2o plus years come on, do you really think this is a good question for informed people that are not stuck watching Just MSNBC? Him and his fat wife eat crap all day, smoke cigs, drink booze all the time. They have been on Vacation for ever, ya what a great example!

Look, how can you begrudge a hardworking man like Obama, who's only played a measly 104 rounds of golf so far while millions of the people who elected him have already burned through their 99 weeks of unemployment, a little normal R and R.

I certainly can't. Because if I did then *I* would be called a RACIST, and then nobody would take anything I say seriously. So, look, is that so much to concede?
