Do you think my woman friend is too senstive or not?

A woman was describing something and she said "Unless your a 6ft8 man you won't be able to see over the top of the board" and my woman friend kind of interrupted her a bit to say "Or a woman." So my woman friend had a problem with the other woman linking 6ft8 and men together but not also mentioning that height with women. I mean there is only a few people in the world that are that tall anyway. Do you agree with my woman friend or do you think she needs to get over herself and harden up? If you think she did the right thing I expect you to support a man that did it if the roles were reversed.

I don't know. I wasn't there to see it. 4
No, I agree with what she did. 5
Yes, she is way too sensitive and also rude interrupting. 2

Yeah your female friends response was pretty useless to the conversation. Shit like that annoys me too.

    • I agree with you. In my mind I rolled my eyes. It is her being offended for the shake of it and not for any good reason.

She is saying the all women are less than 6'8". Nothing wrong with that.

    • However, I feel she took it the wrong way. It was not meant to be something the woman said to be offensive. Just about nobody is 6ft8 anyway. The woman is a bit of a negative person generally. Would you agree with it if the roles were reversed and it was a man that said that? Just asking.

I would still think the same thing. I think of comments like that as logical rigor. If she is indeed pretentious, you'll get additional data points as things progress.
