Do you think it would be better to have all workers no tax workers?

People like cops and military are often tax workers. However what if everyone was private company workers? Should all people be non government workers. This is also a issue when we are in a budget crises since government has to make cuts to cops, military or schools. If they work for private owned business this would not be an issue.

    If a private company could own the police, then you'd practically be begging for some form of chaos. No company should be above the law.

      I mean government workers. Such as cops, and military and so on.

    First of all, I don't like cops. I prefer an elected sheriff model better. Not just at the local level of government, but at all levels. This will always need to be funded publicly.
    A military will become unnecessary in an Ethical and Enlightened society. These persons will need to be re-assigned. This will still result in a substantial cost reduction.
    School systems can be made far more efficient. The children should be walking to school.

      Yes walking would be more efficient if most school were actually within walking distance. Which many schools are not.

      If you really think we should elect all cops look at most of these politicians. Most people who gravitate to that field already believe in the law. Like most in the military tend to be very patriotic.

      That would also make it very difficult to get a job and make it a long and expensive process. I do not believe a cop who sexually harasses and accused of embezzlement is a good addition to the force.

      That is like saying we should have an election for office workers, and teachers and every other job. That is not very efficient at all. So taxes would go up every time someone gets hired.

      Sure you can get rid of military if you want to be taken over. Military is protection if they are at war or not. Even if your country does not believe in fighting it does not mean others do. So you can not say “I WILL NOT FIGHT” and expect everyone believes in that. When you consider things like military you do not just take in your beliefs but that of the world.
