Do you think it was okay for pluto to stop being called a planet?

After all, it wasn't called
My (Mercury)
Very (Venus)
Educated (Earth)
Mother (Mars)
Just (Jupiter)
Served (Saturn)
Us (Uranus)
Nine (Neptune)
Pizzas (Pluto)

for nothing. Why change something if it ain't broken and worked for many years?

Yes (That's just how things are) 21
No (Pluto will ALWAYS BE A PLANET! FUCK U, NASA!) 40
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

It wasn't a decision made by NASA, so you're telling the wrong organ to fuck itself. Also, that was nearly 10 years ago; get over it! Now, if it really makes a difference to you, just think that your "very evil momma just served u nuggets" to pass your test.

Well it did not meet the requirements of what defines a planet. So they decided to say its no longer planet. They update this type of information all the time so this is nothing new.

They use to say the sun was the center of the universe and now they say its a black hole. Yet anyone who says otherwise is not necessarily unintelligent but simply have outdated information.

They removed Pluto such a long time ago so why are you just now complaining about it? If you are so determined to get it put back as a planet why don't you become a scientist and do something about it? If you can prove its really a planet they might add it back.

Pluto is not called a planet because it does not meet the standard of a planet. It is a dwarf-planet, and there are many other dwarf-planets that even are bigger than Pluto, so calling Pluto a planet and calling other dwarf-planets their real name does not make any sense at all.

    Since I was in school;
The dinosaurs didn't die off because of an ice age.
T-Rex wasn't the biggest, baddest dinosaur.
Electricity now goes the other way.
There are still only 5 races, but people are now categorized by Ethnic groups.
Everybody has a computer, not just the government and a few universities.
    Phones don't need wires.
The "Evil Empire" (USSR) no longer exists.
no one is afraid of nuclear annihilation, even though there are still enough nukes left to blow the planet back to the stone age.
We've been in 2 more wars where we can't tell friend from foe.
    terrorism is a daily event.
The Pilgrims didn't land at Plymouth Rock.
Israel Bissell actually rode to Philly; Paul Revere only rode about 12 miles, and nobody ever said, "the British are coming".
Man has walked on the moon.
And poor Pluto became a non-planet.
Plenty of others, I can't think of right now.

It doesn't really matter what we call it. Pluto didn't change since losing its official planet status, and if you still consider it to be one, then go ahead.

If you don't like, you can just keep calling it a planet. From what I understand, it makes sense to not call Pluto a planet.
