      I feel like obesity is the wrong word to get you point accross clearly. I understand it's direct connection to obsession but at the same time, it may come off offesive.

    You didn't really give enough detail to judge properly but if someone is saying you are obsessed (and she doesn't mean it as a joke), it's worthwhile reflecting on what you do and how you act. I'm not saying you are obsessed but maybe you're giving unwanted attention.
