Do you think friendship is underrated?

I think friendship is the single best thing on this planet. How two people can form such a childlike, innocent bond is nothing short of inspiring and beautiful, in my opinion.

I think having many friends is overrated, actually. If you have one or two good friends, this can be more fulfilling than having two dozens of friends.

Not having enemies is half the battle. Have a few acquaintances is 25% extra and one best friend to complete the picture.

I think friendship is very highly rated, as it should be.

Underrated? Quite the opposite, actually.

There are a lot of anti social people who use this website.

I think the word "friend" is misused by most people. Most of us will have many, many acquaintances, some closer than others, but very few true friends in life.
For me a friend is someone who is there for you, even when it's inconvenient for them. And the other way around of course. All the others are some degree of acquaintance, passing through one's life, even multiple times, but just not really that dear or close to us.

it's over rated, having friends sucks.
