Do you think a belly button piercing is trashy?

I've been keen on getting my belly button pierced for a while now, but I can't decide on whether or not it's trashy/whorish. My mother is against it, but I think they're rather cute. What do you think?

      amen to this. If the girl is quiet and is the book reader good girl type its cute. if its the drink all night and get wasted girl and flirt with as many guys as possible then its trashy.

    Alright I've dated a lot of trashy chicks most have belly button piercings the ones I actually liked and had personalities didn't. Not trying to be mean but that's usually how it goes.

      If its getting infected, maybe they werent responsible enough to have a piercing. Ive got 9, used to be 13, and mine are all nice and clean. Im a stickler for proper piercing aftercare.

    I mean, I don't think it's necessarily trashy. I just think it's unattractive and unnecessary. It's also stupid looking when a girl with a bellybutton piercing is wearing a tee and you can see its outline through the shirt.

    Do what makes you happy. Who cares if people label you "trashy" anyway? And if you decide against it, do it for your own reasons, not other people's.

    I don't think any piercing in general is trashy in any way. I think that people make them trashy. I recently got my tongue pierced and despite what people may think, I've never sucked a dick in my life. There's only been one occasion that I've seen one and it was by accident.

    I honestly don't care what people think about me and my piercings. I plan to get several tattoos too. The way I see it, people will have an opinion about you no matter what, so you might as well do what the hell you want. If someone thinks i'm ugly or trashy because I have something, then i'll show them someone who doesn't.

    ive got mine pierced, i like it although i havto be kinda careful i dont pull it on anything, i dont think im trashy and ive never been called that so i guess it depends on the person
