Criminals must think before they act and crime does not pay. Say some one kills my brother and he gets away because a killer should not be killed just like a rapist should not be raped (like anyone wants to rape a rapist). Anyway after the guy who killed my brother is release from prison, I will kill him truly avenging my brother's death and seek pardon with the same excuse he got pardoned for, that is even "murderers have a right to live." Also I am totally against these filth being fed in prison with the money generated from my tax. I dont want my money to keep these scums alive. I most certainly support capital punishment!

As for one example: Any proven child molester should get capital punishment, no question.

Yes. We shouldn't spend tax dollars housing rapists, abusers, and pedos in jail.

Why did someone thumb me down? Why should we keep those kind of people alive? If someone abuses, rapes, or molests someone (particularly someone you love or a beloved pet gets killed or abused), wouldn't you want that person dead? Because monsters like that hardly ever change out of their ways. Those kind of people are evil in my eyes so none of them should remain alive.

No, everyone deserves a second chance and people can change if they really want to. Killing someone for making a mistake is wrong on so many levels and what happens if afterwards it is revealed that the person was not guilty? I wouldn't feel scared or uncomfortable living in the same house as a reformed murderer or rapist if they truly have changed.

No I do not agree with capital punishment, people have a right to change and improve as people. Also, how can we be certain that the murderer is guilty? The innocent ones change and improve while the guilty ones choose to remain vicious or return to virtue. besides, it costs more to kill criminals than to incarcerate them

No, because I don't believe the state should have that power.

People who support capital punishment should have to experience it first

Since the advent of DNA technology, scores of people , mostly blqck males have been freed for being falsely convicted of capital crimes underscoring again and again the blatant mistakes and fallibility of the American Judicial System.

The Judicial System also favors the wealthy over the poor...the wealthy get to file motions, have expert witnesses, and legal and procedural hearings while the poor get a public defender with a day job...whats the result? The overwhelming majority of prisoners are poor but not necessarily guilty.

In the USA blacks have made up the overwhelming majority of people who are executed in this country , also certain states like Florida and Texas execute people at disproportionately higher rates than anywhere else....so what does this show? The unfairness and bias of the whole Justice System ..why should what color you are, how much money you have and where you live have to do with guilt , innocence or life and death?

In no states that have it has any reduction in violent crimes ever been linked to capital punishment.

With the whole appeal process which drags on for years, millions end up being spent on capital crime cases, way more than the costs of incarceration.

How does a society teach that killing someone is wrong if they kill someone?

Sure, but only after I commit the crime.
