I hang upside down and diarrhea all over myself to make the whole act of showering 'worth it'.
I don't know why, but I've never heard of anyone sitting in the shower...
What am I 90?
I doubt the IIN community average age is high enough to get too many "sit" votes.

the only reason we do it fulltime is because if we forget our feet are gone (yes, thanks to phantom feeling in our feet) we do forget they're gone and I for one don't notice till it's too late, then I slip slide and crash. You'd probably get a laugh or two out of it, I do. What a wakeup call!
I can imagine sitting. That means bits of you that don't get clean. I keep the plug in to get an inch or two of water and then wiggle each foot in it so even the soles of my feet get clean.
I knew a rich lady who had an awesome house with all the amenities and her bathrooms were amazing. The shower was all marble walls, ceiling and floor and it had a built in marble bench. It was quite pleasant to use, actually!!
Its fun when the drain clogs w hair then your shower turns into a bath where your feet are submerged like you said. Such clean water then..
Someone should invent the shower can if not already in existence. You could pinch off a couple floaters then finish with a shower sitting or standing in front of the can.
I like to run the shower when I fill up the tub for a bath. It makes the room all steamy.
