Seen as about 99% of the people on the internet want a zombie apocalypse to happen I don't think most people care about what happens to the other 7 billion people.
How can you see things through the eyes of others if there is no shared experienced?
How can a blind man born blind ever understand the color "yellow"?
No, and that is my damned problem.
My Mom was a liberal Christian and my Dad was a Republican Agnostic and they loved having political debates and they loved even more to pull me in and they would ask my opinion and then debate me with both of their arguments.
Annoying as it was, I was able to understand both of the points that they made and I carry that desire into the rest of my life. I want to understand both sides of an argument, even if I don't agree with them and the more I understand them, often times, the more conflicted I feel because I can sympathise with both rationales to at least a mild degree.
Regardless, one thing that I can say for certain, concrete, out of all of the facts and fiction in the world, is that most of the people that you will deal (or at least, that I have dealt with) in this life are truly convinced that their way of looking at things is correct and that the line between reality and fiction, truth and lies, is drawn with a bold, red pen. The idea that knowledge, truth and reality is fluid or at least not as rigid is some might believe can be a scary, and for some, an unorthadox concept.
No I see everything. I see how everyone and everything is effected. The sad thing is no one ever listens to me and comes bitching to me when it falls apart.
Ultimately, everything that I do is for the purpose of improving my own life.
I have a warped view of things. I definitely have a deficit in understanding anyone's emotions other than my own. I often hurt people without meaning to because I don't understand the boundaries or nature of compassion. I was diagnosed with BPD so that may have something to due with it but ultimately, I do not know why I am the way I am. I see things through my eyes amd my eyes only. Even though i strive to understand others points of view its just very very difficult for me. This all sounds very selfish but its truth unfortunately.
No, I am very easily influenced.
Plus, many times I have had a strong opinion on something, then someone told me theirs which helped me see things in a clearer light.
It's best to see through other people's eyes every now and again.
In theory I'd sacrifice my life for the good of mankind. Practically I'm a coward.
Sometimes, late at night, I leave my body and possess my friends to see how they interpret the world.
Alternative perspectives have always been a very interesting subject to me. But, honestly, i don't think i'm all that good at putting myself in others' shoes.
I am very egocentric. Every time something happens to me (especially health wise) I tend to think that it's some sort of epidemic that everyone else is going through simultaneously.
I often try to step outside myself and see how others view the world. I have no idea if I'm accurate, but that isn't the point. Different perspectives help me gain insight into an issue.
No. I have an innate drive to know as many sides to a story as I can and reserve judgement until I know all the sides I can comprehend. A lot of people find it annoying and see me as very passive and unable to commit to a side. I in turn see those people as rash and unwilling to make a complex and informed judgement when they can instead make a lazy, simple and absolute one.
I don't think it is possible for one to care too much, but a lot of people probably think I do.
